Day 43: First Day of 3rd Trimester, Executive MBA NMIMS Hyderabad

Today we officially began the 3rd trimester of Executive MBA at NMIMS Hyderabad. We don't have vacations, and hence we completed our exams last week and were back to class today. Since today was the first day, things were pretty relaxed and were mostly introductory sessions. Here's how Day 43 was for the Executive MBA at NMIMS Hyderabad.

The day started with the continuation of Business Strategy Formulation and we began with Business Strategy Implementation this trimester. It's an extension of the former one and today most of the things were coming back. Porter's 5 Forces Model, Generic Strategies, Hypercompetition, Blue Ocean, SWOT, BCG and all of that.

Next session was on Project Management. This is a new subject this trimester and something that I 'might' need when I move in the next role at work. It was an introductory session as well. Basics on Project Management, Why, What and How of Project Management. Talks of PMP and PMI. Guess this would be interesting in the coming days.
