Happy Ugadi / ChetiChand / Gudi Padva to all my friends. May the year ahead be full of happiness, joy, prosperity and good health. Ugadi is one of the most important festivals in Hyderabad. This year however it was on a Sunday, hence while the others enjoyed, we went to the class :( Nonetheless, here's the Day 36 of the Executive PGDM course at NMIMS Hyderabad. Read about last class here.
Corporate Finance
The day started with a session on Corporate Finance. What we did today was about bonds and Bond analysis. We learnt about what bonds are, how it functions and stuff like that before getting into the numbers. We were introduced to the concept of Yield to Maturity and it's formula. We did solve a couple of numericals on that, but frankly I still haven't understood it fully. Further, the course that I had enrolled for Corporate Finance is still stuck at Perpetuity and I haven't moved further. I'll try to finish it this week, lets see.

Managerial Accounting
After a long time we were having back to back classes and hence we were aware of what happened in the previous class. Today we did a bit of Activity based costing (if I'm correct) we saw how costing works in those cases. However, this was done on excel sheet, and for exams we have to use paper and pen, wonder how'll we do it.
With exactly 2 months to go for the exams for the Batch 15 of the Executive PGDM course at NMIMS Hyderabad, I don't know where I stand yet. Haven't been able to study much - thanks to work and travel. I'm hoping to do something in the coming weeks so as to be prepared for the exams. That's it for today, see you on the other side !
Cya !
