After a break of almost a month - 4 weekends of exams for the 4th trim - we have our final trimester starting today. It's hard to believe that the time has passed so fast that we have reached the final trim. However in the process we did lose many of our batch mates to quitting the course. Anyways, the final trimester of Executive PGDM at NMIMS Hyderabad is all about the electives.

Elective Subjects - Trim 5 Executive PGDM NMIMS Hyderabad
We were provided the following options for electives for the final trim of Executive PGDM at NMIMS Hyderabad. The options were provided for functional as well as domain electives. We were supposed to choose any 2 functional electives along with any 2 domain electives The ones that I've opted for are underlined. Note: From what I know the future batches will have different electives, so I guess this won't be of much use.
Functional Electives:
Domain Electives:
- Entrepreneurship
- Retail Management
- Management of IT Services
The first day was pretty chilled out. The day started with the doze of Six Sigma. Only 8 of us had opted for the course. The first session was just an introduction to Six Sigma and what we do in it. This is a 1.5 credit subject and hence would have only 10 classes this trimester. One of the worst things with electives are the schedule. For instance right now I'm done with Six Sigma and free till 4pm when I have the Advanced Supply Chain Management session which will go on till 7pm. I don't know how will that be, but I guess that should be good.
